Music inspired by Watership Down
« on: January 19, 2019, 08:28:39 PM »
I was listening to some Old Trees, and my ears perked up when unexpectedly the song repeatedly mentioned the black rabbit of inle.

This reminded me of the band fall of Efrafa which i'm :primrose not a big of a fan of, but I find it interesting what genre bands portray Watership Down as. Then I remembered seeing a watership down themed music video for the band Trick or Treat a few years ago.

I'm not entirely sure if the "black rabbit of death" mentioned in this song is intended as a Watership Down reference, but given that Adam Young has covered Bright Eyes in the past, I wouldn't be surprised. Also, it's a really good song off a really good album, and I highly recommend it generally.

I'm not entirely sure what this song has to do with Watership Down,  but I like the sound and it's called Watership Down, so there has to be some inspiration going on here.
