Strifer's Art
« on: April 09, 2016, 09:34:03 PM »
I've actually been drawing a lot before I came to this forum :)
I mainly draw furries, but I have also dabbled in other things. I'll also make WD fanart in the future.
Here's one of my fursona
and this is a character I came up with one day
“I am hopelessly and forever a mountaineer,” “Civilization and fever and all the morbidness that has been hooted at me has not dimmed my glacial eye, and I care to live only to entice people to look at Nature’s loveliness.”  -John Muir

They're really good! You have a nice style of drawing! :D

They aren't badly drawn like you say in the topic summary.  They are actually quite good.  I especially like the first one.  I hope you will post more.

I made a sketch, I'm not sure you guys will like this as much though
I made the ears too short...
Trivia: That's a British gas mask, actually the type the SAS use. (The S10 Gas Mask) I know too much about these things lol

I really do like it :)

I feel like I could put a bullet thru the guy's unprotected skull, though :P So much for advanced tactics xD

Yeah, the SAS don't use helmets as often as I think they should. But then there is the helmet that some Spetsnaz members wear:
I am posting this here for art purposes, I'm currently using this as a reference image

Don't worry as to why you are posting images on The Honeycomb, mate. Unless it is some pretty heavy stuff, we would allow it (and this is definitely the case. It is nice to hear that you are referencing stuff too).

I guess that groups like the SAS rely on speed and the element of surprise rather than on open-combat, then.

Oh, cool!
Actually the SAS is more of a counterterrorism/police force while the Spetsnaz are far more military, but Germany's GSG 9 have sortof better helmets than the Russians, and while they do sometimes deal with terrorists they are technically police
It was the smallest image I could find, sorry

I see, we have tactical/anti-terrorism police here as well. It is called "Grupo Halcòn" :)

Oh, you shouldn't have to worry about images being too big either; Darkling installed a script that re-sizes them automatically ;)

Yes! Resize scripts are the saviors of forums!
I looked up Grupo Halcòn, they look like they know what they're up to.

Time for something happier!

:D!

That'd be one hell of an advanced tactic, though. If a SWAT member came into my room thru brute force and a duster, I'd probably be too defenseless because of laughter to offer resistance xD

Haha, me too. I just remembered, I don't own this any more, but I have a picture of me with an old soviet gas mask... somewhere. I might be able to find it.

In other news I'm making WD fanart, and its going great
