Ahh, I didn't realise it had been posted who was voicing who already. Interesting! :D Can't picture who a few of these people are without looking it up. Ben Kingsley should bring an interesting take on Woundwort.  :woundwort2
Here lies a signature that has little point.

Is this the full main cast or just some? Noticed there is no Dandelion or Kehaar.

Probably just some of them! They may not have found anyone for the other roles yet, or just didn't want to disclose the information :)

I do not see Blue bell. Let's wait to see this mini series of 4 episodes. If I were rich would do a series of WD anime with 52 episodes getting stories of El-ahrairah. Many wild fights and blood.   :frith     :darkling
I love Watership Down!

Everything is fine =) (?)

The closest thing I can think of to that is ginga densetsu weed with a lot of dog fight scenes. I want Richard Adams book shardik to become a TV show I think that would be cool to watch.

Eh, I'm not a fan of shows that are bloody and gory just for the sake of being bloody and gory. Its supposed to make the atmosphere dark and mature but It comes off as being angsty and cheesy.

(Accidentally pressed send, continuing...)
Its the reason I can't get into things  like  the Warriors series or Ginga denestuwhateveritscalled. It just feels like they crammed in lots of fighting without much thought for anything else. I think Watership Down and Plague Dogs did a good job of not over doing it on the bloody scenes, but placing them only where necessary and letting the other elements of the movie (music, art, voice acting etc) create a dark atmosphere. I think Felidae borders on cheese at times but its not as bad, like when Francis disembowls Pascal. I thought that was a bit over the top.

So in other words I think an overly bloody Watership Down would be just as bad as an overly family friendly Watership Down.

WOW I have never seen ginga densetsu, but seems to have a lot of violence. I mean for example what says "BigwigisLove" a serious Watership Down with dark touches, with simple but wild fights and well done, with good development and good writing just as in the book. However when a series has to be well adapted for TV. And not everything has to be dark and serious, they will also have their charming characters as Dandileon or Bluebell, the wise leader Hazel. Good writing, humor and entertainment ...
And not just anyone can do it. Is a program for all public or a public one. I hope I explained  :blackberry2

Blackberry was a girl in the series, and now Strawberry is? What on earth is going on?
All that aside, this is a very good cast, I just hope they don't ruin it.

Blackberry was a girl in the series, and now Strawberry is? What on earth is going on?
In the year 2000, the Watership Down fans on the Internet were posting 1000 messages a month on roleplaying groups, and complaining about Blackberry-doe.

Now, over 10 years later, Blackberry-doe is no longer the subject of flamewars, although some people still like to complain.

I don't know how Strawberry-doe will be handled, but in the end perhaps the only plot change this will require will be for Hazel to say "We only have one doe" instead of "We have no does".  I hope everyone will actually give her a chance before deciding whether the change was a good thing, or she should have stayed a buck.
