I'm glad they are including more characters this time around, particularly the does. :)

Thanks AndreofHazel!

According to that list, the original Sandleford rabbits who appear are: Hazel Fiver Bigwig Blackberry Dandelion Hawkbit Holly Bluebell.

For Cowslip's warren, Silverweed will appear, but only for one episode.

Clover is listed as appearing in all four episodes, something I find rather surprising considering the farm raid only happened late in the original book.  Haystack will also appear in two episodes, but Boxwood and Laurel are not mentioned.

Now for Efrafa.  The only does mentioned are Hyzenthlay and Thethuthinang (sic).  Blackavar is also there.  Woundwort will appear in all four episodes, something I also find surprising.  Campion will appear in three, and Vervain in one.  One thing I do find interesting, however is the mention of "Captain Orchis" in three episodes.  In the book, he was only mentioned a few times, if I remember correctly, and didn't get any spoken lines.

For mythological characters, the only one mentioned is Frith, for one episode.

Finally, there are a few other characters: Dewdrop (doe, 1 episode), Scabious (buck, 1 episode), Nettle (female, 1 episode, I don't think she's a rabbit), Sainfoin (buck, 4 episodes) and the farmer and his wife (1 episode).

Overall, this seems like an interesting set of characters, but NO PIPKIN???

I didn't notice no Pipkin! :( That's highly disappointing, I hope he is in it.

Bluebell though. :D

The only thing I can say is: they better have Pipkin :P

Anyway, that's interesting info. Seems like the series may not follow the novel in an exact chronological order. I didn't see the original, so maybe that's normal.

Everyone wants to Pipkin, but appears in almost every episode of the series 2000 and in the movie. Already he had much prominence and even Owsla Jr. as captain, what else do you want?
It's time to give a chance to other rabbits that did not appear in the series and the movie.
Blue bell finally arrived!

 Bluebell is the joker XD

It's true that Pipkin had an important role in the series, but so did Hawkbit, who still gets into this new miniseries despite being a minor character in the book.  I would gladly trade Hawkbit for Pipkin any time, but that's subjective.

I just hope the list is incomplete.  At least we get Bluebell and Thethuthinnang.

Captain Holly will appear in all four episodes? Well, at least that'll mean he won't randomly disappear^^

Only one episode for Vervain? Too bad but I suppose he got some nice screentime in the 1999 TV series.

If Clover is in all four episode then yeah maybe they'll raid the farm earlier on? That could be another way to ensure more focus on the does.

Only Frith? Would this mean no mythologies or does it just mean that El-ahrairah and co won't get their own voice?

Now that I think about it, I get this miniseries when it finally goes on sale, but I imagine it will only be available in Europe for some time. So I'll have to wait because of the terrible price of the currency.

It is likely that El-ahrairah not appear, it is not confirmed voice actor. At least I will be mentioned.   :fiver

Interesting quote I found by John Boyega
He added: "I don't think I have an inner rabbit...Bigwig is a leader naturally, never had much fight for. It's the deepest my voice has been - I use the lowest register of my voice."

I guess you never do expect a little bunny to have a deep voice :hannah4

Well since they have an actor from Denmark doing the voice for Kehaar it will be interesting to see if this choice will prove to match either Zero Mostel or Rik Mayall.  :kehaar

Kehaar is a hard character to voice, as season 3 of the TV series proves :( I hope Kim Bodnia will give a good performance in the miniseries.
