Would you recommend me a forum?
« on: January 09, 2015, 06:14:39 AM »
So, long story put short: I left three forums this year because I  no longer felt comfortable with the topics discussed there and there was too much inactivity in those places (plus in one of them everybody turned into a racist idiot). So I'm basically looking for a replacement now.

In which places do you post? I'm not looking for anything special right now, but I would much prefer if the place has some constant activity and the community is nice (plus rule-driven forums tend to annoy me. I'm fine with rules, but not with zero room to error).

Thanks in advance :)

I might not be posting on these forums anymore, but they are quite active:

The Gang of Five -  http://z7.invisionfree.com/thegangoffive/index.php?

Redwall Abbey Forum - http://www.redwallabbey.com/forum/index.php

Well, I think that I'm in enough forums as it is right now, but tell me anyway, if I ever leave another forum, a replacement would be needed.

I'm watching Redwall quite religiously now, and I really want to join that forum but... it works incredibly laggy for me (it's seriously unnavigable). Does anyone else have this problem? :/

I know you said you have enough, but here's a Redwall forum that I post on, and visit regularly.

(No more regularly than here, Hawkbit-rah  :D )

The Long Patrol Forums
I've missed this place.
Check out my Deviant Art page. But only if you feel like it.

The Long Patrol Forums
I'm seriously considering that, although I would have to have some extended knowledge before I join... I'm only six episodes in (I started two days ago) :lol

It works fine for me. However, a long time ago when I wanted to enter this forum for the first time I had to use this https://www.hidemyass.com/ in order to register and log in, because otherwise I got this message:

"Sorry Guest, you are banned from using this forum!"

I've never figured out why I keep getting this message when I try to log in in normal way. I don't remember ever being on that forum before I registered, so how could I had been banned from it? O_o

They probably banned someone from your same IP Rank and you are suffering as a result. It wouldn't be the first time I see it.

Or... they just hate you, it wouldn't...  :lol  :lol  :lol

I'm just kidding, you are awesome!

Hmm... Now I have a hard time deciding which of these is more probable. :p
