Where better to buy the series of Watership Down?

Glad to see you bought the Criterion blu-ray.  You will love it! :hawkbit2

As for the soundtracks, I was fortunate to buy them both before they seriously went OOP.  $27 for the movie one (yes I know what it goes for now!), and I think about $35 for the tv series one.  They're much much harder to get these days, and I don't forsee another cd release ever happening.  The album master for the movie soundtrack was destroyed when the recording studio was demolished.  The tv series one could perpetually be released online as a (legal) download given all of Mike Batt's stuff is very much in his possession. ;)

I reviewed both soundtracks a long time ago too.

Has anyone seen a blu-ray version of any WD stuff? I got a brand-new Xbox One the other day and I have never experienced any blu-ray before.

So which set would be better, the green/yellow or the white one?
Or are they exactly the same?
I'm looking to buy of them, but first need to decide which one...Any opinions?
I've read something about episodes being out of order on the white set... But I can't find anything on the green/yellow one...
What could possibly go wrong?

They are the same sets.

The white one has 14 separate Amary-DVD-cases.

The green/yellow one has 7 double slim Keep Cases.

It's a shame, that I haven't a similar picture on my website (I will fetch later asap), but take a look at this site: http://www.watership-down-page.de/ueber-die-serie#content-anchor - there, it's good to see.

I bought in 2013 the original soundtrack CD with 11 other Watership Down CDs at ebay for 12,00 €. This was really cheap.

:silverweed That's a very affordable price, you're very lucky. I just find the OST of the series in 40 dollares and 200 dollar off the film Watership Down.

Thank goodness I have the series with the package of 14 films from Watership Down. And the film on Blue Ray. I'm very happy.

Thanks in advance to Darklin Nocturnal and grumpy rabbit Hawckbit for help
Thanks guys  :fiver
I love Watership Down!

Everything is fine =) (?)

elton, just make sure you have a way to play these DVDs if you're not in Europe/Australia due to region encoding. ;)  That's the biggest thing that will get in your way.  I have the white set and I see no reason not to buy that one.  They're in order except for the Winter on Watership Down episodes that were given their own dvd, and they are not in the middle of season 2.

No, they are not completely in order.

"The Roundabout" is placed between "The Great Water" and "The Stand"
"Bigwig's Way" is placed between "The Wanderers" and "The Nestling"

(see here ;) )

Thanks a lot, that really helps :)
And since I live in the Netherlands, Region encoding won't be a problem ;)

That's right, I forgot "Bigwig's Way" is badly out of place.

Interesting. I never knew, that the movie soundtrack-master is was destroyed.
Yeah, what's up with that? Couldn't they save it before demolishing the building? That was kind of a big deal.

Wanna get the series really cheap?

http://www.ebay.de/itm/watership-down-series-1-NEW-DVD-/262149705133?hash=item3d09570dad%3Am%3AmJNPpXc9KCWYd0Pm-E-LGZw
This is strange.  While the picture shows the whole boxset, the item name and description only mention "series 1".

It's late in Germany. I've overseen that. The running time also speaks only about 299 minutes. Very strange  :hannah2
