Fiver's Honeycomb has a mentions feature. This makes it possible to draw another member's attention to a specific post or thread. Mentioned members will receive a notification on their profile and, if they enabled it, an email.
How to mention usersType the @ character, followed by the username of the member you wish to mention. After typing the first few letters, a list of matching usernames will be displayed; click the appropriate one to add the mention.
For example, this text:
I wish to mention [member=216]BlackRabbitOfInle[/member]
...will be displayed like this:
I wish to mention
@BlackRabbitOfInleChanging the displayed textAfter you have made your post, you may wish to change the text that is displayed. To do this, edit your post, change the text between the member tags (leave the number unchanged) and save your changes.
In the previous example, you will find that the code has been turned to this:
I wish to mention [member=216]BlackRabbitOfInle[/member]
I will now change it to this:
I wish to mention [member=216]the Black Rabbit[/member]
It will now be displayed like this:
I wish to mention
@the Black RabbitAccessing mentionsAt the top of the page, you should see several buttons: help, profile, my messages, staff list, members, logout. Put the mouse over the "profile" button, and you should see this:

Click "mentions" to see a list of all posts where you have been mentioned, along with the member who mentioned you and the time when this happened. This page also allows you to be notified by email when someone mentions you.
NotesMentions will not be displayed correctly when previewing your post, but everything should be all right after it has been posted.
You can mention an unlimited number of members in each post. However, each user can only be mentioned once per post. Even if you mention them repeatedly in the same post, they will only get one notification.
It is impossible to mention yourself.
Mentions expire after a year; afterwards, they are removed from your profile.
Do not hesitate to ask if you have any questions or if you experience any issues
