Pine Needles is the name of an obscure WD character.  If I remember correctly, he survived Sandleford's destruction but didn't join Holly's group.

It is a pretty great name :strawberrydoe There was another Sandleford survivor called Nose-in-the-Air :violet and several others with more boring names that I forgot :red

A fanfic exploring these characters could be really interesting :buttercup
