All this nice stuff, but no plushies...

All this nice stuff, but no plushies...
Plushies would be nice. Soft and squishy.

I'm going to have a random guess and say at the lowest those ornaments will be about £40 ish / $50 ish.

Speaking of plushies... seen the Chad Valley Fiver on eBay for a pretty low price and thinking of putting in a bid. I've ummed and ahhed a bit because the eyes look a bit weird XD but then again, it is a rare WSD soft toy that would be a valued part of my little collection!
Here lies a signature that has little point.

If it's that cheap, you should buy it ;)

Oh yeah I wanted to sign up real quick to see the prices too but quickly backed out when I saw that form. Yeah no thank you.

And I read on site somewhere that it expressly states that you're not allowed to resell these things on eBay and such. It has to be exclusively them. (of course it's not like they can check all and every physical store to resell it in so it might indeed turn up there)

I guess plushies aren't considered fancy enough xd Even though I would LOVE some of them so bad.

y’know, as a collective watership down community we should just distribute our own merchandise lmao,,,

like i use to knit and i haven’t done it in such a long time but looking at all this wsd stuff i can’t afford is making me so sad i’m considering relearning how to knit so i can make myself a wsd themed sweater so i can at least look like i have watership down stuff ;;

If official merch won't deliver then the fans need to step in. Quite often that turns out some really cool stuff. It's so cool that you know how to knit, Flora! I always admire it when people know a craft skill. I don't know how to knit or make plushies (like Cockatiel) but I've been thinking about making a 'design' and trying to get that printed on a t-shirt again.

wsd sweaters would be so great tho.

a t shirt would be nice - it’s a shame the offical merch isn’t really anything practical like that

Plates are practical I suppose?? Only no-one is going to be using an expensive plate like an actual plate.

even if they intended on people using the plates to eat with, who in their right mind would pay that kind of money for a plate

as collectors items they’re nice, but the plates aren’t even that good for collectors to want, really.

That's true. It really does make me wonder what sort of audience they were envisioning to reach with the miniseries. Fancy people, apparently, but with so much money even that they'd pay so much for plates?

It just seems odd business practice.

Knitting is really cool Flora :)

I agree about the plates; at that price, it's more of a collector's item than something to eat food in.
