I could see Blackavar having a crush on Primrose, but it seems mostly one-sided...

Haven't seen this AMV but you gotta love those video edits you see in Youtube's early years.

I think the first Watership Down AMV I have watched with to the song Animal I have Become.

I never thought about this ship before... But I dig the idea of a one-sided crush-thing between those two! (I can't help it... I love drama and unhealthy relationships)
Could be the reason why Blackavar was clinging so much on Primrose and always being on board with her risky plans and ideas  :yes
And... MAYBE... she played on his affection a little bit to have a reliable partner in crime  :hawkbit3

It must have been pretty painful for Blackavar to see how easily Primrose fell for Hazel afterwards, leaving him without anyone :campion2

I wouldn't even imply that Primrose had mean motives behind it... I mean who wouldn't reach for every straw one can get when living as a slave in Efrafa? :3
So it would be more a kind of survival tactic?

And I agree with you to 100 % ... it would be a relatable reason why Blackavar disappeared at some point. I think seeing your girl with another guy every day is not that pleasing :/
