Introduction (Finally)
« on: February 05, 2020, 10:26:55 PM »
Been putting this off for a while so let's get this over with.  :hawkbit3

Hello FHC members!
As the fourm's latest member (as of posting) I would like to thank you all for making this fourm a welcoming place for fans of WSD to post about and discuss with each other.

Now a bit about myself and how I came to join this forum:

About 5-6 years ago I was first introduced to Watership Down through an English class I was taking at the time. This included me watching The Series and eventually deciding to write my class paper on Watership Down (I don't have a copy of this to share as it has been lost to time). While gathering information for my paper, I came across this fourm (Which helped 10 y/o Me greatly).
Fast forward about 6 years, I decided to re-watch The Series again, and in my general research I stumbled across this fourm again.
Needless to say, I immediately created an account, and here I am.

I am currently living in California along with my family and two dogs.
I love all things Watership Down but the original Book and The Series will always be speical due to the part that they played in my life.
I have not yet watched the 1978 movie but I am currently working on watching the Miniseries on Netflix.

With all that said, thank you and I hope to answer any questions you might have below.

Hi, Minesweep! Welcome to Fiver’s Honeycomb! It’s pretty nice to see another member that’s the same age as me. Unlike you, I only discovered Watership Down very recently, in early 2019 matter of factly. I was very invested since then. Even after finishing the series and movies, I still rewatched them. I still need to watch the Netflix series though. I also read the entire first book too, but not the sequel.

Unfortunately, you probably won’t see me active here. Why, you ask?
About three months later, my entire interests shifted entirely towards The Land Before Time, another show with 14 different movies and a TV series. The main premise? Well, dinosaurs. While Watership Down always has a place in my heart, it’s not my current focus at the moment.

It’s great to hear that you finally decided to take the plunge and join a community of people with similar interests. I hope you enjoy your stay at this warren! :D
Curious to find where I’m most active?
You can find me at the Gang of Five!
