Gina woke up with a violent shake of her numb body, while a clear look of confusion travelled thru her face, making her eyes look wider than they really were and momentarily freezing her mind. She was overwhelmed by all the feedback given by her senses, which were unable to recognize anything of her surroundings. Still very confused -and, unavoidably, scared- she tried to understand the present situation, starting with the fact that she was unable to remember anything that happened prior to this unpleasant recovery from the land of the dreams.

With a heavy sigh, she forced herself to think.

Her paws were standing in something that smelt like wood but that was plain and even and didn't have any other scent on it. Almost as if it was an artificial thing. At her sides there were the static -but still breathing- bodies of maybe a dozen of other creatures, all unknown to her. In front, there was another creature that was already awaken and was looking in her direction.

Gina had never seen anything like the tall and bipedal creature that stood in front of her and had to fight her most basic instincts in order to either attack or beg help from the creature. Still ignoring if that tower was dangerous or not, she tried to pretend indifference and acted like if she was smelling the wood, hoping that the creature would lose interest in her presence.

OOC: I did finish my sheet, just so ya know. Also, great posts, guys! Let's see if I can match them. Also, I should mention that Alec doesn't know much about modern pop culture.

BIC: Alec Lightwood blinked. Then he shot to a standing position. He was in a house, an unfamiliar house, in his gear and armed. The last thing he remembered was going to bed at the Institute because Magnus was out of town. . . .

Alec shook the thoughts out of his head and looked around, grabbing a seraph blade. There was a man standing in front of Alec, who was facing his back, and a cat-lemur-looking thing beyond him. There was also more sleeping people and creatures around the room, but Alec kept his gaze focused on the immediate problem as he stepped backwards backwards silently.

When he hit a wall, Alec raised his unactivated seraph blade, "Who are you and why am I here?"

Watching carefully, Gina backed up against the nearest wall and brought out her claws. She wasn't as scared now that she had comprehended that the two other creatures were in her same situation, but didn't allow her guard to go down just yet. The distance separating the unusual trio was still very short and the rest of the static creatures were still a potential danger that just had to be taken into account.

Feeling overwhelmed once more, she tried her best to get as close to the wall's surface as possible, until there wasn't any separation between her fur and the paint covering it.

Suddenly realizing the potential showdown about to begin, she bitterly looked at her paws (now crowned by the black claws) and tried her best to look menacing. Whatever happened next, she was going to have at least one clear shot on either of them before getting hit. Or that was the plan, at least.

Gina didn't react to that statement, but slowly switched her attention to the other guy, who was still holding a hard blade of strange proportions.

And was already trying to come up with a strategy for not only dodging a potential attack from that weapon, but to attack the holder as well, when the words "real world" ricocheted thru her brain.

"R... real world? What do you mean by that, mate?" She finally said, very awkwardly.

Still hesitating (but re-gaining a lot of self-control) Gina cleared her throat and said:

"The fact that I can't remember how I got here, doesn't mean that I'm going to believe anything you say. Especially something that sounds so crazy! But if you can, somehow, prove that what you say is true, I would join your efforts in order to get back where I belong".

"If this is some kind of trick, though, you would face a very grim destiny, mate". She concluded.

Alec studied the two. The cat-lemur-thing he suspected of being a demon. . . . But demons didn't usually back away from fights. As for the other person, he was _. Cautiously lowering the still unactivated seraph blade, Alec frowned. "What's to say that this is the real world? My world could be the real one, or yours" -He gestured to _ -"Or even yours." He then gestured to the cat-lemur-thing.

After a moment of thought, Alec let the seraph blade drop completely. "I'm Alexander Lightwood, one of the Nephilim." He looked somewhat relaxed, but Alec's mind was racing. The only reason he'd lowered his weapon so that he could grab for his stele if he need to, but one wrong move and Alec would activate the blade. Or he could always pull a Clary move and draw an Open rune on the wall with his stele.

"So, you not only cannot prove your point but are also mocking my threat. Is that so, Mr Captain? Very well, I see that you and Mr long-sword what'shisname are starting to get along and I won't be foolish enough to take on two heavily armed, strong warriors at once. But that doesn't mean that I won't change my mind at any point if you give me a reason to doubt either of you" -she said, and later added-: "You can call me Gina, I suppose".

Carefully measuring every movement of her tired paws, she took advantage of the momentary dialogue to re-orient herself and making the distance between the three even greater. Once she felt comfortable with her decision, she added:

"Go on then, try and convince me of this. After all that happened (or probably happened) I'm in the mood for some entertainment".

Fast as the wind -and forgetting about her doubts, any strategy, and her own fears- Gina crossed the room until she got in front of _. Definitely a mistake, for which she had wasted a lot of an energy that she didn't really have, but that was a sacrifice that had to be done because she couldn't stand the idea of having this stranger bossing her around and leaving before hearing an explanation for such behavior.

"Listen, smart boy" -she said, while wheezing- "I do not have a better explanation nor am I seeking one. But one thing I DO know is that you seem to have a better idea of what's happening and I won't let you leave until you talk".

A long silence followed this statement, while the sweat kept pouring thru her fur, then she added:

"I still think that those are fairly tales or that you are making stuff up as we go, but I wanna hear all about that because, honestly, I'm out of options... and that sickens me".
