Pretty much, yeah. I just really do not care for Clover. Or Dewdrop.

Dewdrop is the girl questioning Hazel at the start right?
His brief love interest, yeah.

Clover could have been fine, okay, whatever the hutch rabbit is worldly now, but then episode three happened.

I didn't even get a sense of a relationship there
They didn't really  have one. She was pretty, now she's dead.

The attraction seemed to be one-sided.  While Hazel had a crush on Dewdrop, she had no special feelings towards him.

I highly doubt they were trying to foreshadow Nettle with Dewdrop.  If that was the goal, they failed miserably.

It does not seem unnecessary, not intrusive. I see him as an unrequited love, and from which he was betrayed by her. For betraying him ... It's sad, poor Hazel.   :hazel

Unnecessary character is all I can say here. :D
Here lies a signature that has little point.
