Another image of the colouring book has been released:

I assume they are currently in Cowslip's warren?

I like the look of Bigwig's tuff. It's more realistic than bigwigs hair or his lion mane  :bigwig3.

I'm a little curious if Netflix will put this series in the kids section. I don't think they will since the story itself is a drama, but who knows.

Hazel, Fiver, Blackberry and Bigwig. They have a very good artistic look. I definitely have to buy it together with other old works, which I am missing from WD. And Red Wall, which I also have in my sights.    :fiver    :silverweed3     :frost
I love Watership Down!

Everything is fine =) (?)

Surprisingly, it appears to be the case.  Among the genres listed on WD's page is "Kids' TV".

TV Shows, British TV Shows, British TV Dramas, Kids' TV, TV Action & Adventure, TV Dramas, TV Cartoons, Animal Tales

My previous post is no longer accurate.  WD's page on Netflix has been updated, and "Kid's TV" has been removed from the genres, replaced with "Adult Animation".  Also the "More details" section previously said that the show was "exciting".  Now it says that it's "dark".

This is going to be very interesting...

Oh, thank God. I was worried that either, A, it might have been toned down like the 90s series, or, B, there would be a lot of complainers about the series being too dark after their kids clicked on this new "kids cartoon" show. Well, there might still be more of the latter, because the animation age ghetto is still strong, but hey, at least there's a solid excuse now. Very interested to see where this goes.

The Netflix page has been updated again.  The genres remain the same, but the rating has been added: TV-PG.  In 2016, the British Board of Film Classification said that the 1978 film would be rated PG if it were released today.

I really wonder just how dark the miniseries will be...

Is the British or American rating PG. I know with the movie in the United Kingdom it was rated U, but in America it's PG.

I'm glad to hear it will be put under the adult Animated section. Happeing that the series will be taken seriously.

I love that cover. Such a nice blue colour. I can't wait to get this either!

I have the feeling this might be Hazel talking about Fiver.

Or Fiver talking about Hazel, given the hole that reminds me a little too much of a drain pipe hidden by underbrush.

That book cover is rather nice, pretty pattern, although the positioning of the running rabbit makes the legs look a bit too long and odd! (Sorry, I keep finding a little negative in these things. :P)

Forum member @Thlayli-rah has obtained a copy of the book, and posted this picture on Twitter:

He also posted the back cover:

Overall, I like what I'm seeing, and Kehaar's design is especially great, I think.

Three things though:
1: The Black Rabbit doesn't look very ghostly...
2: Bluebell is described as a "natural storyteller", I thought this was Dandelion's job...
3: This is far from complete.
