How do you think Adams came up with the fact that rabbits can't count past 4?  That has to be the single best snippet of lore.

i thought it was because they only had four feet and that’s the most body parts they had to count

I wonder if rabbits understand the concept of zero.

Perhaps if they saw a pawless rabbit. And didn't go tharn first.

The paw thing sounds reasonable.
