Miniseries figurines
« on: February 18, 2019, 06:31:48 PM »
A while back, it was announced that Nemesis Now would be releasing some figurines for the WD miniseries.  They were initially scheduled for December, but it didn't happen.  Now, they are finally available for pre-order.

Once again: Hazel, Fiver, Bigwig, Clover, Woundwort.  At this rate, they will never release anything for any of the other characters...

Bigwig's face looks so silly why

Quite like the Woundwort one tho but seriously why always the same characters? Gimme Orchis already!

huh can't see the prices unless logged in, so probably expensive.

Why does all this merchandise have to be so expensive?  There's almost nothing for the rest of us who don't have huge amounts of money to spare :/

I wonder about that too. What happened to cheap little figurines you could collect and get from a supermarket or something? I would love to have those. And if it's cheaper to make, I think it'd be easier to include more of the characters too. Everyone happy!

Something akin to Lion Guard merch: cheap plastic figurines, plush toys, blankets and bed spreads, cheesy t-shirts, etc. But I guess that's very unlikely to happen for a miniseries like this. Ain't no Disney after all.

Hazel and Fiver looked like they've been burnt :D

Grrr, that having to log in to discover the prices is stuuuupid.
Here lies a signature that has little point.

Hah they really do look burnt. Poor buns.

Also noticed that Woundwort has both his eyes intact. He has a scar but the eye is not white.

That's horrifying. If I do it, I'll put fake info.

Oh wait, actually that kinda looks like this is for stores and businesses...

Also by the way there's a minimum required for the first order. Guess we'd all have to chip in and do a group buy.

Mmhmm. So they may pop up somewhere else, just have to keep an eye out.

Looking at the rest of FAQ I can already tell y'all they're probably gonna be pricey. 'Cause it's all fancy and nice and collectibles, like china plates.

Either that or they're actually going to be really cheap. I dunno.

There's really not enough cheap merchandise for the miniseries...it's all super-expensive.

It's pinky-out collectibles.
Dunno who the market is though. Are fancy folk into Watership Down?

XD I guess so.

This is the sort of stuff that's gonna pop up in antique stores in about ten years. (Or five.)
Or thrift stores, in about 15.
