Thoughts Of The Day
« on: February 05, 2019, 06:07:34 PM »
Somewhere to put any thoughts you might have had on any given day that you might like to share (whether it's interesting for other people or not!  :hannah4 ) that aren't worth making a new thread about. Other forums have had this thread and it seem to be quite popular.

Any old thought you might have - within reason. Had a good day? Anything bug you? Something funny occur? and so on. Of course you can comment on other people's thoughts or not, but it's not somewhere to expect a reply because you're just voicing something mainly for your own need, really. :D

Probably find out there's already one of these threads... at least not for a while, though.

As it happens, I don't have much to say at the moment other than I hope this headache goes soon!  :vervain-facepalm

Here’s my thought of the day: If that guy who I bought that Cowboy Bebop thing off is scamming me I’m going to be very upset.

Interesting thread!

I hope it's not a scam Flora...

Anyway, random thoughts of the day: algebra is insane.

Yeah, I hope it's not a scam. I suppose there's always some risk when you buy on places such as eBay or so. :/ ... Although they're fine in most cases! I've had instances in the past when I've bought some items online and they never showed up. One I messaged the company about and never got a reply. Thankfully it wasn't loads of money, but still grrr!

Never did much with algebra and that was for the best, really. :D

My thought is: isn't it typical that something I'm selling on eBay hasn't had any interest in all the times I've put it on there, and the time I say to somebody I speak to over on Discord that if nobody buys this time that they can have it if they like (and they actually seem quite happy to)... it gets a watcher. We'll see if anything comes of that. Might not yet.

OH what do you sell on EBay, meadow? Maybe I'll see something I'd like to purches from you.

I hope you get your bebop thing! I like that series as well.

Cockatiel ponders: I wonder if I've seen the most animated films out of my whole senior class (which is 47 students). I'm making a list of every animated movie I've watched on that list challenger website. I'm at 307 now, but sm still remembering titles I haven't added yet.
My Youtube account is CockatielPony. Go check it out i post stuff

Oh golly, I should do that. I bet I wouldn't remember them all.

I used to keep a list of all films I watched (privately, I didn't post it on the Internet or anything).  Sadly, I stopped updating it a while back...

I'm curious what Meadow is selling too :glowingfiver

Thought: there are so many different word processors, all of them with their own strengths and problems.  Microsoft Word seems to be getting slower and buggier with each new version, and I have no use for cloud integration or anything like that, so I'm using LibreOffice.

^ Word on the laptop I use is the 2003 edition. :D

What am I trying to sell on eBay... Nothing Watership Down. :D A few different animation books I used whilst at uni, a Japanese manga (actually in Japanese) and a few Disney soft toys. Possibly try a few ornaments. Although the worry about packaging the fox ornament, I might not bother. Haven't listed them as worldwide at the moment because I need to work out how much I need to charge postage & packaging.

Shipping worldwide can be really difficult, since rates can vary significantly from country to country.  My mother used to be friends with an eBay seller in the United States, who stopped shipping internationally because it was more trouble than it was worth it.

Today's thought: it can sometimes be very easy to misinterpret someone else's words :fiver2

That it can. Talking to people is terrifying because I never know exactly what they mean sometimes but I’m too scared for clarification lmao.

Today’s thought? The college campus is so huge and terrifying but at least the education block has an aquarium.

I saw a load of cute rabbit plates and bowls in a shop today... sooo tempted. Might go back for the bowl.  :pipkin2

I got my Bebop thing today and my only thought is that my faith in humanity has been restored.

Really glad you got it Flora :) Sorry you can relate to my last post though :(

Today's thought: I have more things to do than time to do them.  I'll have to set some priorities.
