Yeah, I've only played the first one and most of the second. The gameplay isn't bad, but the writing is just passable. It's not like they're breaking any new ground with the plot.

It's a Moses story, complete with river.

Which. Why is there a river? Why do dragonflies just live a few blocks down? How did these evildoers not find Spyro more quickly?

Villains have a habit of doing some really clueless things :hannah4
(I have no idea what y'all are talking about though)

Why did Ignitus just let this egg float down a river? In plain sight?

A purple egg is pretty conspicuous.

Just like no one thought of checking on Flyairth when she muttering about Acorn having "White Blindness"

Maybe in their world, purple rocks are more common.  Maybe they're as ubiquitous as paperweights and salt shakers.

I thought the story of the legend of spyro games were cool when I was 11. Legend of Spyro was my first crush which I have to admit. Elijah wood does have a sexy voice which I still love.
Yeah though I'm not sure if I'm still craving more edgy spyro games.

I adore Spyro the dragon, but the Skylanders version seems horrendous to me, that's not Spyro! It's a purple thing that tries to emulate it, I'm sorry, I didn't like it. I prefer this current version x3    :snowdrop2

Has anyone here ever played Skylanders? If so, what are your thoughts on spyro in those games? I'm with the crowd who loves the original Spyro and refuses to play Skylanders. Agreeing with what Acacia said that version of Spyro doesn't feel like the character we all know and love.

HAAAAAAAAAAA That thing isn't Spyro, it's a monster XD

Kill With Fire!

But seriously, I don't like this version at all. I have not played the video games, but unfortunately I watched the Netflix series and not ... The netflix series is too childish and unbearable to watch, I tried to like it but I couldn't, the characters are horrendous in personality, but at least they have a good design ... Except Spyro.
For me, this is the real Spyro!
[/youtube]

It may still be childish, but it is not childish and the design is superior. I love Spyro, she is so cool ^^   :bigwig3 :silverweed3 :wub    :hawkbit

I haven't played any of the modern games of Spyro. Own Spyro 3 for PlayStation. :D Really enjoyed that game - so much to do and I like how you could freely roam around and not just stuck to one track! I never completed it, though. Kept getting stuck on the same bit where you had to fly through one of those portals in the air and I just kept dive-bombing to the ground/in the water... I've left quite a few PS games unfinished, really. XD Would love to play these games again sometime, but don't feel like I have too much time for leisure at the moment.

Aww, Spyro. :D
Here lies a signature that has little point.
