Computer Disk Tray Troubles

I found zoo Tycoon lying around my house today. I love that game so I was excited to put it into my laptop and play my childhood computer game. When I was about to put the disk into my laptop I noticed that there is no eject button on the side to open up the player. How on earth do I open up the disk tray to play my game? Why would they add a disk player to a computer and not add a button to open it?

I have an Asus Windows 10 laptop

Open the Windows Explorer (the file and folder browser).  In the left pane, there should be an option "This PC"; click it.  Near the bottom of the window, you should get a list of all the drives the computer recognizes, including the disk player.  Right-click it, and "eject".

This is where I get stuck. When I open This PC, there isn't an option for playing cds.

Press the Windows/Start key + X, and select "device manager".  Is there anything listed in "DVD/CD-ROM drives"? "Update Driver Software" if possible.

Did you get this sorted?

From experience, and this is only up to 7, not 10, the optical drive only shows up when it detects a disc in the drive, from experience.
