Hazelhog short film
« on: April 27, 2020, 12:42:20 PM »
So, I thought I'd share my my grad film for anyone who enjoys animated short films. It's about a hedgehog-like creature who struggles to find a comfortable home. Here's a link to the film:
https://callumwelch.wixsite.com/hazelhog/films

Hazelhog is a character I came up with during university, and I've also been working on a series of comics about him.

I actually also just finished a second film about his journey to the Land of Tiles, which I'll be releasing soon. When I do, I'll share that here too if people enjoy this one.
(there's also more stuff on the other tabs of the website)

Anyways, hope you enjoy  :snowdrop2

That is an amazing short film! I love the use of black and white and designs are not overcompmicated, just enjoyable. It was funny too, especially tje 'it feels negative' comment!
Oh yes and the placement of dialogue was fun to see to. Music was excellent.
I'd love to see tyour next short as well!

Wow! Nicely done! I agree with Chibiscuit, the animation and set look very smooth and polished. I would love to see the next short as it becomes available. Thanks for sharing!

This is amazing! Cangradulations on your film. The music is beautiful. What is the name of the songs you used?
The characters remind me of a mix of moomin and rooty toot toot.
