As for the summary:
The RP started right after the battle of Efrafa, which more or less occurred like in the tv-series. This means Woundwort is presumed to be dead by almost everybody (if I am correct only Campion believes General will come back), while the warren is left in ruin. Surviving Efrafans have moved to Watership Down and together with Hazel's bunch are trying to expand the warren in order to house all new arrivals.
Not every newcomer comes from Efrafa though. Some of them are hlessil who came across the warren or one of its inhabitants. At the moment Captain Holly is leading one of them (wildheart's character called Shula) to the Down.
When Watershippers and Efrafans arrived back on Watership Down, they found out that Campion is alive. Shortly after his reunion with Blackberry, they both set out on a journey to Darkhaven, since Campion was given a mission from Black Rabbit himself. They were captured by Spartina's patrol and were brought to Darkhaven. Now they are kept in prison burrows (they are guarder by Arkose, who belongs to Indi-Rah), where they wait for Granite's decision about their fate. They have been approached by Scoria (student of the Speaker of the Past) who is willing to help them, hoping they can become her allies in Darkhaven.
In the meantime, Vervain is alive in Cowslip's Warren. Recently he has been joined by other survivors from Efrafa: Owsla officer named Sunflower and Nettle who was a slave back in Efrafa. They all trying to figure out what to do next, now that their leader and warren are both gone.
