Didn't know Siskel and Ebert did there film critic show in the 70's. Found this short preview of their watership down review and I can only say Ebert is wrong.

From what I could understand, they both liked the movie and that it represents real rabbits well even if it is an animation. This is very interesting.   :dandelion

When the clip starts Hazel says, "who who's there?" I don't remember him ever saying that in the WD DVD I own. Was that line always in the movie or was it cut out in later versions?

Something like this I have noticed in some parts of the animated series of Watership don 2000 with the DVDs and chapters on You tube. There are few scenes and phrases, but I have managed to notice them.   :hazel

That's quite interesting! It's good to hear a mention of the film from the decade it came out. What is that man saying he doesn't like the animation! Pfft. :D
