I was thinking that it would be cool if the new series coming out had the story El-ahrairah and the black rabbit on Inle. What stories would you love to see? I would also like to see the looks of prince rainbow and king Darzin animated.

I'm working on a short animatic of El-ahrairah and the black rabbit.

They'd have to put at least some of the stories in there, otherwise the religious references the characters make wouldn't make any sense to the new audience.

My thoughts? I haven't read TFWSD, but I would like to see all the ones in the original book which I have of course read. I don't think I want to see any original/new stories for the new series, I don't trust the writers to fulfill Adam's role to that extent.

It's hard ... The mini series consisting of only 4 episodes. I do not think there is room for subplots. And more than miniseries movie should be.   :flax
I love Watership Down!

Everything is fine =) (?)

That's a rather hard question to answer.

From one point of view, we've already had the blessing story TWICE (once in the series and once in the movie), so I wouldn't mind if it was left out, but then it is kind of necessary to introduce the character of El-ahrairah, so it will probably end up getting included.

I would also like, if possible, to have the other four stories from the original book.  The story of El-ahrairah and the Black Rabbit of Inlé would be especially nice, but I can't help but wonder if the dark atmosphere of the original story could be better represented using traditional 2D animation...

If it were a five-part miniseries, I would have liked to have the last episode focus on the events of TFWD, including maybe at least one of the El-ahrairah stories in it, preferably The Sense of Smell.  However, since there will only be four episodes,  I guess it will probably be an adaptation of the original book without TFWD, so probably none of these new El-ahrairah stories will be included.

Creating more stories that didn't happen in the original?  I probably wouldn't like that.  I would prefer if they just stuck with the original material without expanding it too much.  It would be much more interesting, I think, to see the stories that appeared in the original before creating new ones.

Tales from Watership down does have a lot of stories but the tv show would focus on the first book so they probably wouldn't have any stories from that book
