Hey there. You can call me Hammy. This is a lovely warren. I think I'll stay here and do things sometimes. Don't generally like to write out introductions like this nor create new topics, but I figured I should in this case.

I just found this place today while I was over browsing Land Before Time forum. I didn't at all expect that there would be any kind of Watership Down forum anywhere, but then it's the internet so I can't say I'm surprised.

Funny thing, my favorite Adams novel is actually The Plague Dogs, not Watership Down, and I was introduced to Watership Down via the film adaptation of Plague Dogs. I presume most people here are familiar. Still, Watership Down is a long-time favorite of mine, in all its incarnations. Something about the unusual amount of effort put into anthropomorphizing the rabbits while still making them believable as normal rabbits.

That's enough talking into a void for now. In any case, I hope I'll be speaking with all of you in the near future.

Welcome aboard, hammy. I've read Plague Dogs too, and I liked it a lot too.

This place seems like a void occasionally, but there are active members about, good ones too.

So I've seen. I'm used to that kind of thing, really. Prefer it at times, even. I'm just glad its active at all.
