Hi. Where to start? I've been a fan of Watership Down for about 5 years now. I discovered the film first, when it was mentioned on online forum. Having absolutely no idea what it was about, my first impression was a documentary on sea life (lol). Anyway, after googling it, I decided to download it and watch it. I was blown away, unlike any animated film I've ever watched. Then I found out it was a book, so I bought it and read it. Loved it even more than the film. Immediately read it a second time, it was just as good. Read it about 5 more times over the past 4 years. Became my favourite book. Then I found out it was a tv series, I was a little reluctant to give it a go because of the cutsey family friendly look. I did watch all seasons and I thought it was good for what it is but I don't really care much for it as I do the book or film.

Fave characters: Bigwig (didn't see that coming), Woundwort (he's fantastic in the book, kind of one dimensional in the film, but so are most of the characters) Holly (he's just so chill) Fiver (do I need to say why?) and Hyzenthlay(again, great in the book, ok in the film)

:bigwig And now, you bunch of mole-snouted, muck-raking, hutch-hearted sheep-ticks, get out of my sight sharp.

Oh dear, I know exactly where THAT username comes from. Might want to keep that a secret from the kiddies, otherwise Shrek will never be the same.

Anyways, welcome to this forum. It's pretty cool, as I'm sure you'll see. Not a lot of people, mind you, but it's real close-knit and kind for the ten or so active users.

Because the last thing I'd want to do on a Watership Down forum is scar hundreds of kids for life. Glad we cleared that up. :)

So can I be your girlfriend, since I am the beautiful Hyzenthlay LOLOL, my Bigwig?

I saw the movie first, read the book, and have not seen the series yet.

Same for me though...loved Bigwig, Woundwort, and Hazel...and I liked Hyzenthlay and Clover.

And KEHAAAAAAAR
