Favorite Instrumental Songs
« on: April 11, 2016, 04:33:25 AM »
This topic is about instrumental songs, such as instrumental versions of other songs, orchestras, or other music that is solely instrumental.
My favorite instrumental song would have to be Until Heaven Stops the Rain (Instrumental version) by Wax Tailor. What's yours?

The Lark Ascending by Ralph Vaughan Williams. I really like listening to all of his music, and this is probably my favorite piece. He was a fantastic composer.

Denny Schneidemesser is sinfully underappreciated for his fantastic music. He composes soundtracks for games and shorts, but really deserves bigger projects. The above is his 2015 demo reel that samples some of his pieces. His Youtube channel is full of great instrumental songs. You all should explore it.

Denny Schneidemesser! I've heard of him a lot. He's awesome.
Zelda music, great songs from that entire series.

Just discovered this gorgeous piece on Youtube. Very fantasy-ish and inspirational.

Oh, I've loved "The Blood of Cu Chulainn" by Jeff and Mychael Danna for years. It's stirring and gorgeous.

And the Nightcore version too, which also sounds great:

I forgot how much I liked the music that plays during Soarin' when I was at Epcot. God, I hope they don't change it with Soarin' Over the World.
