Hey, here is a place for us to discuss the game Out Of Character.

Which rabbits from Watership Down do we think our characters most align with?  Greydew is based loosely on Silver.  I would venture to say that Elderberry is our version of Fiver.  How about the others?

Are there any predictions about where the story is going?  If you make a good prediction i may steal the idea and use it  :lol

Yes. I dare say my oc Elderberry is like Fiver. I like my ocs to have some sort of mystical, strange behaviours and talents. Also I think that Larch is rather like Bluebell, always making jokes and making mischief and lighthearted fun.
By the way, I've got a small problem. Anyone have any idea what the danger could be because I was thinking that due to the river now running there could be a flood at the bottom of the hill or something. (Pretty lame danger).
And I hope this role play won't disband in a long time. I'm enjoying so much. Frith- rah! It's was I call a chief role play!

Been meaning to post here for a bit. Might as well do it now.

Larch is definitely like Bluebell in a lot of respects, but he also borrows a page from Blackberry's book. He's notably intelligent for a rabbit, like Blackberry, but he has no good sense, no wisdom, to back it up. He'll charge into situations without a full understanding because he knows something is strange and he's curious as to what will happen. He likes stirring up mischief because he knows how and because he wants to learn how to do it better. There's a good chance Larch would drown in the process of figuring out that wood floats. He's an intelligent fool. Or, that's what I have in mind anyway.

I was kind of thinking that since, presumably, a dam has been taken down upstream, there might be flooding or at least leakage in their burrows or something. Wet soil isn't much good to be scurrying around in, for various reasons.

Elderberry, I sent you a private message telling what you saw in your vision. Also I hope you all are enjoying it. If there's anything that's unclear just ask.

At the top right of the page, you should see a link marked "Inbox" followed by a number.  Clicking it will show you a list of all your private messages.

In case anyone hasn't figured it out, the men have been building a dam downstream.  When building a dam, the water is usually rerouted around, thus the dried up river.  Once the dam is complete, the water is redirected to its old course and hits the dam, causing it to fill up the valley and turn it into a lake.  Springhaven Warren is about to become the deepest point in a man-made lake.  I wanted to mimic the original story without having the exact same danger of a housing development.

Frith rah, yes, I see. That's an interesting idea. So if spring haven is flooded, the rabbits will have to find a new warren elsewhere?

I am going on vacation tomorrow for two weeks.  The story will probably be very slow until I get back.

Bon voyage. I Can't wait until you get back because this is the best role play I've ever had the honour of being part of. Also it's got a most convincing and intriguing story within it with the flood and all that. It's such an absorbing role play that I literally check every couple of hours to see if anyone has replied. And I have confidence that the role play will hopefully, if a little slow, continue still whilst you are away. Will you still be able to post on here wherever you are going?

Okay and no problem. This role play is brilliant as it actually has a definite plot and action.

You're quitting?

In that case, could someone else "adopt" this game so it can keep going?
