Brighty's Music
« on: August 05, 2016, 01:55:07 AM »
Thanks for checking out my thread! (Or, at least, clicking on it!) I play flute/piccolo as a hobby, so I'll share some random things.

Comments are appreciated.

Requests: Don't worry about a song being too easy or too hard. If you suggest it, I will look into it. Also, you can choose to either provide the sheet music or not. In the case of the latter, I'll see if I can find it myself. I'm open to playing pretty much anything.

~~

I'll start by posting two very belated requests from Crackers. Sorry these are so late; hopefully, I'll be more timely in the future (I can't guarantee it, though :P). It's a long story that involves being busy with a music competition, losing the sheet music, not knowing how to print them without access to the library, forgetting, and finally realizing I can just play while looking at the PDF. Sad thing is that both of these are very easy and last one minutes long :P

Please bear with me; I haven't practiced much lately. In all honesty, I could work on these more, but I have another piece to focus on and I don't want to delay Crackers' request any longer.

The content you are looking for is no longer available. Please try again later, or leave a message at the beep.

I listened to both of these and downloaded them.

These are great.  You say you didn't practice a lot recently, but you still played these very well.  I especially like Scarborough Fair, despite the changes.

I don't have anything to request at the moment.
Have you considered making each day count - doing something meaningful each day - instead of letting the days and weeks and months and years fly into oblivion? --Bright Side

Hey Bright Side, fellow musician! :3

The greensleeves play of yours is really well done in my opinion! It's so smooth and ugh,... I've always loved this song!
I only can agree with Chipster, it doesn't sound like that you didn't practice a lot recently.

Same as for Scarborough Fair, really well played. I also learned it on piano a few years ago, and I found it quite hard, the first days, but you did very well. Really like it, hope there is more to come!
I instantly followed you, if you don't mind me! ^_^

You have always been a really talented musician, my friend. You are way beyond the point where the lack of practice can tie you up :)

This looks listens really awesome.

It doesn't bear contemplating, if you would be able to record with real studio equipment/environment.  :pipkin-oh

Thanks so much, Darkling! Like I said, these comments mean a lot.

I record these in a closet, using a free app on my phone :p It would be pretty neat if I could use some better equipment in a better setting. I'll see what I can do about that.

Establish a record label!

"Toilet Records" or "Flush Media" or something similar :D

Pretty Legitimate, Great voice strength with the flute. It sounds not only lovely but mystical, maybe if someone in the fandom was creating fan inspired movie of Watership Down, you could totally become the music director. Well see, when the new wave fans join our fandom after the 2017 remake of Watership Down.

Thanks so much!

I looked up the sheet music for Bright Eyes online once, but it costs $5 that I'm not willing to pay :p

:fiver Understandable. It looks we need someone who could sponsor a future fan movie project if that were to happen, well see.
