I like turtles for the most part
« on: August 16, 2016, 03:36:12 PM »
I've discovered a striking resemblance between turtles and zombies, but turtles are alive and tend not to want to eat as much. I think, as a rabbit, if a zombie turtle were to ever happen, I'd be trepidatious to want to challenge it to a race because I don't think I'd be like...wait, no that's a tortoise that raced the hare...wait am I a hare or a rabbit? I know I'm not a zombie.

Welcome back Bluebell!  It's great to have a long-inactive member post again.

(even if said post is crazy)

:) Hello Bluebell, Have not seen you in a while even though I ever have. Also, your striking resemblance does not seem surprising, yet it is intriguing. Also, welcome back. :silverweed3

That made me laugh :D

Welcome back, Bluebell! Feel free to reach out if you need anything.

And I prefer turtles to zombies. Turtles are animals, for one, and I love animals. If a turtle were to kill a human (I doubt this happens often), it would be out of instinct. A turtle is just trying to survive. Zombies, on the other hand, are something else.

I would not jump to conclusions so fast. Turtles have a mighty appetite for the flesh and tight grip that never loosens unless they want it to. And they never want it to. Their claws are sharp as razors. Laceration is a risk in handling them.
Moreover, unlike the slow and bumbling zombie, they are deceptively fast on their flippers, even on land, and will reach your big toe to feast upon it whilst you waste time gaping in amazement at their speed. Lastly, whilst zombies are rather helpless in water, turtles are anything but. They will swim towards your presumed safe haven amidst the azure depths, enter and strike, and you will never know what hit you.

In short, the turtle is a formidable foe. I would not like to face it.

Yet I do not fear it. For that, they are much too cute.
