Forum loading extremely slow

This was a minor nuisance at first, but now it's gotten to the point where I feel like picking a random dumpster and filling it up with corpses. This is by far the slowest site I visit and I noticed that the trend began after a random connection to "b3.ifrim.com" started to happen.

Now, I know that ".ifrim" is actually a ZetaBoards service, so I know I'm safe and all, but by God is that annoying. Does anyone know how to either block connections to that url or to speed it up? Also, is anyone else suffering from slow loading?

This is weird. It seemed unnaturally slow for me as well, until I started responding to your post and was verifying the problem. Now it doesn't seem slow anymore. I can assure that it was super laggy less then five minutes ago.

I've noticed it too!  I thought it was just me.  It can sometimes take me five minutes to get the page to load, and sometimes I have to refresh it five times for something besides the background to appear.  This is getting seriously annoying.

Unfortunately, I can't think of a solution besides...contacting Zetaboards?  Or maybe that would do more harm than good...

EDIT: I've tried setting my adblocker to block "b3.ifrm.com" This breaks all uploaded avatars.  Also, the "post new reply" editor's layout is horribly broken, but it's still possible to post.

EDIT 2: And all emoticons are broken too.

Yeah, it seems like ZetaBoards has some major performance problems. That's unfortunately the problem of free hosters: You have no guarantee for accessibility and performance.

Currently, I have no solution or idea how to solve the problem. Let's hope, ZetaBoards is getting their annoying server-problems under control.

Oddly I didn't experience any problems so far during this day. But maybe I just hit the right times always.

It seems a bit faster now... but I wouldn't put my money on it staying that way yet.

Hmm.. that's odd. It works fine for me. Then again I do have AdBlock on at all times, so maybe that has something to do with it.

It was laggy the other day, thinking about it, but I assumed it was because I had so many tabs open. All the forums I had open were doing that, actually. (IDN, here, LAF) *Shrugs* Works fine for me today, though.

It seems to the same as always for me when I visit the site on the PC. It might be slower at times but that's only when i have too many tabs open, like Crackers said.

 It loads a lot slower if I try to view it on the PS4 though.

I've had this problem here and there, but not to the extent that it intensely bothered me. If this is out of our control, might as well wait it out unless it gets really bad.

Anyway, it's good to be aware that this is happening.

I never noticed it being slow but I've been on my phone more recently so I guess I wouldn't have. I hope it's an easy fix if the problem arises again.
