Okay, there are (quite a few) rabbits on my campus, and I was watching three of them this morning running around in circles chasing one another.
They had been going at it for a few minutes when one of them bumped its head into another's tail, and this one proceeded to jump what had to have been a bit more than half a meter into the air. Although it was a bit difficult to judge precisely as I was watching from the third floor (second floor for all you Europeans out there), and they were almost directly beneath me, perhaps four or five meters from the building.
When this rabbit had landed from its flight, it bolted under a bush and didn't show itself again for the duration I was watching.
Has anyone else ever seen anything like this?
