I just found out and was actually going to spread the news of this tragedy!!!

Rest in Peace Richard Adams

1920-2016
:inle-movie Author and Creator of the World of Watership Down. :(

I'm too shocked and too sad to express my words as of now. A moment of silence may be best for those such as myself in mourning. Dang, I need time... I can't think straight. I'll need to pray and rest first before I write a Eulogy. This has depressed my day.
Dang this is saddening.

Thank you Richard Adams... *Hugs*

Hraka! This year doesn't fail to get worse, even though it's almost over. :(

The silver lining is that he died after enjoying a long life (not everybody lives to 96) and he will be long remembered thanks to his art. Rest in Peace, Richard Adams.

I just saw this on the news. Shocked and saddened, especially since he will never get to see the new adaptation. But he gave us so much with his talent. Rest in Peace Richard Adams

I knew this was coming. Even just a couple years ago, he was a really old fellow and it had to happen sooner or later. Still, I hoped it wouldn't happen and it's a shock to me regardless, when people are suddenly just gone. Can't help but think of when Brian Jacques passed. I honestly don't know what to say. The feelings don't have words.

I am very saddened to hear about this. I have been worried about hearing this news for the past couple of years now, and now that the news has hit, I feel very deeply saddened by it. Rest in Peace Mr. Adams, you will be missed.

He would have wanted to see the new movie of Watership  down , probably because of that he had strength, but the project was delayed. Now he can only enjoy it from the sky.

The important thing is that he had a long and happy life. That is the most important thing in this whole thing.
A great man left this world, but his legacy and memories will always live.     :blackberry

Words are powerful, but when describing events like this, fail miserably.

Richard Adams has died, as all humans do, but indelible are the marks he left behind. Each of us has been affected by his work. This is my joy in the sorrow.

RIP, Richard Adams. What a great age. Thank you for creating the world of Watership Down, as well your many other achievements.
Here lies a signature that has little point.

It seems I am unable to write the Eulogy I was planning to write tonight for him. My words are failing me and I am afraid that my words will be improper and rude for his memory, so I won't do it for it is too risky and out of respect for this beloved Author. Sorry, Everyone and Mr. Adams. :(

I heard about this. Very unfortunate. He was a great writer.

As if 2016 couldn't get worse, we lost Richard Adams too?!
