The book always wins, but it is always interesting to see the adaptation. Besides that it has actors of voice, music, art and everything an artistic distribution that is worth appreciating.    :blackberry-buck
I love Watership Down!

Everything is fine =) (?)

Yes it does, for its detail. But, a good movie ADAPTATION can do the book justice, along with the right voices.  I  just wish the film had been longer, or they made a series of movies to include more of the book detail.

The book was very lovely and of course is better but as far as adaptations go the movie did rather well I think. Yes something were altered because of time constraints but the amount of liberties they took were few and I believe over all stayed pretty close to the source material, unlike the series.

I like your signature. Oh, yes, there were time constraints with the movie, definitely...I only wish back THEN, they had made a series with the same animators and everything...
