Soundtrack remastered

So I went on Amazon UK and Ebay UK to see if the soundtrack was at a good price and I found it at a great price remastered in chronological order as the music appeared in the film. :D

Yes. The entire Watership Down soundtrack was recently released this year on a Super Audio CD in full.

Granted though most of them have to imported if somebody happens to live outside of the UK.

Meanwhile I own the soundtrack and I love it. It is completely different to the tv-series soundtrack and I can't say, which one is better. Just know that I have motivation to watch the movie after hearing it :D

For my ears, the soundtrack often reminds me to the scores of Alfred Hitchcock movies.

If you owned the older soundtrack, there's a bit of difference in the audio of the CD layer (not quite as flat as before), but there is not a "night and day" difference in sound quality.  I have no way to play the SACD layer to know what that sounds like.

That's interesting.  I didn't even know this release existed, I thought all that was available was old vinyl records of the soundtrack.  I might look into this in the future.

I have the older cd soundtrack release which I had bought online. I was wondering the same thing. If the standard layer of the new release has a better sound quality. I just love the score of this movie. It really lends such emotion and the Climbing the Down track always gives me chills. YOU CAN SEE THE WHOLE WORLD!
