This is a question I have been thinking about for a while...what do the rabbits of Watership Down do when they are not having exciting adventures?  How do they spend their time?
Have you considered making each day count - doing something meaningful each day - instead of letting the days and weeks and months and years fly into oblivion? --Bright Side

Yeah, there will be no resting with Bigwig around!

But I'm sure they just raid farms a lot, and look after each other. :wub

What do they do? Well... There is storytelling. They also have a few games in tv series like Tail Tag or Bobstones (and I think Pipkin mentioned a couple more, but we haven't seen them playing those). After that, maybe there is grooming (self and other rabbits). Oh, and there is also love, of course. :)

Yep dandelion probably tells stories which makes me think how many El Ahrairah stories does he know.

Hopefully there are plenty enough of them, so the things don't get repetitive after a month or so. Then again, Dandelion can make up more of them by turning Hazel's and company adventures into El Ahrairah stories. :) I think it happened in the book at the end, though it wasn't Dandelion who told that story, IIRC.

And if they get bored with storytelling, they can take example from Darkhaven and start fight club, only less deadly. :p

That makes a lot of sense, especially since after the end of the war many of them had kittens.

What do they do with their mates though? :hyzenthlay :hazel :primrose :fiver :vilthuril :clover :holly

I think it was Vilthuril, but I'm not sure... :vilthuril

That's another possibility.  Hopefully they won't take it too seriously though, although just friendly fights might be fun :spartina

I would suspect that when not a lot is occurring that go out on night patrol.

With Woundwort gone, I wonder if Hickory and Marigold started up another warren? Redstone is gone, but it could be built somewhere else. Watership would get full eventually and they would have to go somewhere.
