Favourite canon couple (series)

I asked about the best couple in the books.  Now, it is time for the series

for some reason I feel like there aren't many options, despite there being only one fewer than in the books

If it were possible, I would choose all of them. Love can not be measured, because it is infinite, each character wins his partner over time, they deserve it.
However, my special favorite is Blackberry X Campion, because his love is tested again and again, on many difficulties. Besides that it is a beautiful couple.

I always thought the romance in the show was kind of underwhelming. Bigwig/Spartina, Blackberry/Campion, and Clover/Hawkbit came in really late and didn't get a whole lot of development. I've always felt that there was an episode missing where Bigwig and Spartina get more time. Gluck/Kehaar, Heather/Moss, and Hickory/Marigold are just nothing to me.

Twist my arm and I'll tell you Hazel/Primrose, if only because they were given time. And I really like Thank You Stars, which is pretty much their song.

I have to agree with this.  I think everyone hates Gluck.  Clover/Hawkbit and Blackberry/Campion come out of nowhere.  Heather/Moss had a lot of potential, but both characters get written out almost immediately after it happens.

I voted for Hazel/Primrose and Bigwig/Spartina.  I won't ramble about how Hyzenthlay is the superior character, but the fact remains that with Primrose the way she is, she kinda needs Hazel, I think. plus this leaves Hyzenthlay free to be mates with Thethuthinnang I agree that Bigwig/Spartina could have some more development, but I still rather like the relationship.

Voted Hazel and Primrose because I barely know about any of the others! Although from what you're saying the others are nothing much anyway. I really must get around to watching more episodes...

I voted for Moss x Heather and Bigwig x Spartina. Because I'd have so much loved to know more about their relationship. Especially Moss, since we know so less about him, in my opinion. Always a fair guy, but always stayed in the background of the story. And suddenly: Poof Efrafa's new leader. x3"

As for Gluck, haha, I'm so in on that. I guess the producers only implemented  her to have an aunt-like character acting funny and childishly, as the main audience still were kids (just like me back then, wow... I'm getting old). But I also never really got to like her, especially since she made Kehaar left Watership Down permanently. (At least until the end of the show)

Overall, tho, romantic also hasn't been such deep topic on the show, similar to the book(s).

i voted for hickory and marigold. i dont know why. i dont particularly like any of the canon couples on the show but it seems to be the most realistic one to me. it didnt come out of nowhere (to my knowledge they were mates before the canon storyline, or at the very least they had chemistry) and its the most stable one. i personally hated blackberry/campion. it was like it was all just based on aesthetics for them to get together.

That's true.  It's disappointing how Moss gets forgotten so soon after becoming Chief.  He, Heather and the others vanish completely, and don't even show up for the final battle against Darkhaven

I hadn't thought about it like this, but I think you make a valid point.  Like you say, there were already in a relationship when they're introduced, so no love at first sight like for pretty much everyone else.  Also, it does appear to be more realistic.  Their relationship isn't absolutely "perfect" like with Hazel and Primrose.

I agree; apart from Gluck/Kehaar this one is perhaps my least favourite couple in the entire series.
