Tribute Stories For The Deceased who have contributed
« on: May 26, 2018, 06:54:37 PM »
An idea to bring together a variety of great story ideas :dandelion being tribute stories for the deceased cast members. Mainly for me, this was just an idea that came up to honour 4 of the members on the show who voiced characters. Those being Stephen Gately :blackavar, Richard Briers :captain-broom, John Hurt :woundwort2 and Rik Mayall :kehaar but we can also extend this to some of the other people like celebrities who only voiced for the 1978 film.

Inspiration to start this topic came from this lovely thank you story for Richard Adams which is found here: https://www.fanfiction.net/s/12771838/1/And-Last :wave

Anyone ready? Begin brainstorming  :)

I read the story you linked, and really liked it :)

I like the idea of writing tributes to members of the cast.  I wrote a one-shot when Richard Adams died, but it was very short and very nonsensical so I probably won't be posting it anytime soon.  However, I might write something for the actors you mention.

Do you have any ideas about what the plot of such stories would be? :)
Have you considered making each day count - doing something meaningful each day - instead of letting the days and weeks and months and years fly into oblivion? --Bright Side

Ah, here’s the creative part:

Using elements from their wiki pages and other articles if you like, they’d be imaginative versions of what you think happened during their final days of life. Eg John Hurt died 3 days after his 77th birthday from pancreatic cancer, perhaps he’s reflecting on what he’s going to do next during his illness?

Thanks for reading it Vesper but that’s actually from another author. I just linked it however, I’m working on some ideas with another author for the 4 Of The cartoon cast of stories centred around them before they died.

Would you or anyone else here have ideas for any of the deceased who worked on the show in the form of stories? Feel free to expand it to those exclusive to the film if you wish

Hey Vesper. The guy who created the Richard Adams tribute was a different guy but he did 2 more stories for which I supplied the ideas for:

I read the Rik Meyall one and overall liked it.  I've been wanting to read Stephen Gately for a while, but I never got around to it... :( Hopefully I will be able to this week-end...

Take your time chipster but feel free to leave some reviews on the linked stories for feedback. Do you think you’d like to give this concept a shot?
