I think I might have ridden a horse at some point in the past, when I was much younger.  My memory is hazy though...

However, it would be nice if I were to get a horse at some point in the future though :) Might take several years though...

ah, i used to ride all the time! unfortunately now i'm way too busy and the horse i had been riding passed away :( flight was such a lovely horse; not too sweet, but he liked me and i liked him so it was good :)

owning a horse is something i'd like to do. i'd like to adopt one of the older horses in the rescue centre that can't be ridden to give them a nice place to live for the rest of their life :)

I don't think I've ever been on a horse. Perhaps when I was so young that I can't even remember, I might have sat momentarily on one? But I don't -think- so.

To be honest, though the idea of riding a horse sounds interesting, I am very wary of trying it. I'd hate to lose control and the horse go charging off and I panic, etc... I'd only try it if it was a very short trot where somebody else was walking the horse around slowly, so I would feel all is steady and safe enough.

I have, however, ridden on a camel quite some years ago in Cyprus, and last year I rode on a donkey through a town in Rhodes.  :silverweed3

I was going to comfort you and tell you that horses aren't scary but then I remembered that a horse squeezed me through a small gap in between two tiny trees, a horse spooked at a feed bag and I nearly fell off, and another horse dragged my leg through a barbed wire fence so

I've ridden a horse a few times, and I've loved it every time. I'd love to ride more, (and actually learn how to) but I don't think that will happen, sadly.

Aww, you’re very lucky! Your horse looks just lovely! I’ve always adored Friesans too!

I rode horses for eleven years, but recently had to sell mine when my parents insisted we couldn’t afford to keep him anymore with me heading to college. It’s been really hard not having a horse, but I’m hoping to save up and buy another one in the next couple years!

In case you’re interested, here are the two horses I’ve owned over the years. The first one is Wall-E and he was my first horse. The second is named Red and he is the one I just had to sell last summer.
