I wouldn't call myself a photographer, at all, but I do like to take some pictures now and again. If I remember to take my camera with me, that is. It's not a very good camera, or simply not that powerful really, and taking pictures of animals that are not fuzzy is especially challenging.

Yet I want to share some with you anyway so hope you enjoy them! 

I was on a little vacation last week and, among other things, I went to a zoo in Overloon, The Netherlands. Some pics! 
 
First thing I see (and hear): adorable otters! My day was already made then and there!

Dinner time!

As you can see this pride consisted solely of male lions! All of them had the same father but two had a different mother (so they're brothers and half-brothers).

As you can see cheetahs can't sheath their claws (just like dogs)!

African wild dogs (aka Painted Dogs)! I've always loved them; so beautiful!


There were polar foxes too! I love how their tail remains white even in summer.


And these two camels enjoying a snack


Back at the family park we stayed at there were rabbits and squirrels that could be spotted in the morning and evenings! I didn't get a picture of the squirrel sadly (I think my dad did tho) but I did manage to get some of a rabbit!





There were magpies hopping around with the rabbit foragers for Ironbeak's flock and I was actually amazed at how big the magpies were. They were bigger than the rabbit!

Very good Chibibiscuit photos, especially those of the otter and the bunny. It does not matter if you are not a professional photographer, you took good pictures of the animal fauna.

I love those camels.

The polar fox's tail really is pretty unexpected.  At first I thought it was a toy or something.

The rabbit is also very cute!  I like how it doesn't seem bothered at all by the magpie's presence.

Love the animals yawning. The fox is so cute such a nice picture you took. Also I like how it looks like the camel on the right is smocking.

Are the magpies wild or captive. Actually have never seen a wild magpie eventhough they can be found in the state I live.

The magpies are wild. They're very common in the Netherlands and here. You can see them all around. Them and jackdaws. Jackdaws are EVERYWHERE. It's crazy.

There used to be blackbirds everywhere as well but a couple of years ago a virus went around that they were very vulnerable to and it decimated about 95% of the local population. It's kinda confronting to see how easily it happened...
I found it even worse that it was hardly in the news. I only remember one mention of it and it made it appear a lot less worse than it actually is.

Great selection of photos! So you may not be a photographer, yet still got some fine snaps.

That one of the adult lion eating that bit of raw meat looks a lot like a newborn baby. @__@ And that camel looks like it's smoking. XD

An old picture found in the depths of the Discord server. I can't really remember which steam train place I took this at but I think it might have been Simpelveld in The Netherlands.

I like the photos of the trees, because it reminds me of autumn, my favorite season of the year. The train looks great, with how old and cool it looks.
