Hi.

Hi all,

Not sure what you want to know about me. I'm a female, and a big fan of Watership Down. Love the novel, movie and TV series. I'm an artist and love to draw, paint and fiddle in photoshop. I have one rabbit named "Hazel" and some guinea pigs. I also have arabian horses and poodle dogs. I'm a farm girl and I also work part time in a feed store.

Oh, Yeah, I live in Australia.

So, with RE to Watership Down.

Favorite characters... in the Novel, so hard to pick but can't get past Bigwig. He is always great. I also love Fiver and El-ahrairah. Hazel's character is always awesome and I really liked Hyzenthlay

In the movie my favorite was Fiver.

In the TV series became quite fond of Campion and Silverweed. (Fiver was of course, great in that too)

Hello, Silverweed. We're glad to have another person join our forum. :)

You're an artist? Did you make any Watership Down art?

Yeah, I have an associates degree in Graphic Design, but mostly draw and paint for fun. I'm working on some  WSD art now actually. I have a deviant art site here: http://shaydeelady.deviantart.com/

Shaydeelady is me :) My icon on here of Silverweed is something I'm currently working on. Also have a fanfic in the works based on the TV series. Nice to meet you.

I think I saw some of your WSD work before. :)

What will your fanfic be about?

Yeah, I noticed you're lurking there now LOL. My fanfic is based off the TV series, after season 3 ends and Silverweed is old. I really liked Silverweed in the series (thus the pick of chat name) and decided to continue his story. It's called "Saving Silverweed" and its uploaded to fanfic site. http://www.fanfiction.net/s/8902844/1/Saving-Silverweed

I only write for fun so it's not that professional. Full of error's which I don't mind if people point out so that I can fix them. I've decided that it was more than Silverweed's physical life that needed saving since his mental state had also suffered so that is basically what it is about, with a few fun bits involving the rest of the warren thrown in as well.

Nice to chat with some other fans of WSD as most of my family don't understand my fettish for it!

Not sure if I should sign my posts Shaydee or Silverweed or what LOL. Maybe just S since that covers both.

S.

Australia eh? I hear there's a 30 foot Komodo Dragon called Megalania and a T-Rex called Burrunjor there that might nor might not exist. I'd so go to Australia just for that.
