What could have been
« on: March 13, 2013, 10:07:30 PM »
Dandelion watched as Efrafans were running down the hill and then disappearing in a distance. He couldn’t help but feel frustrated by this situation. He had been bitten in his tail, he had fought against his best friend and then he had almost drowned and for what?

Apparently, while he and Hawkbit had been gone, Heather had chosen Moss as her mate and now they were all gone. To be honest, he would even prefer it, if Heather had picked Hawkbit over him. At least then he wouldn’t feel like a fool, who had been trying to win a meaningless contest…

He sighed. This clearly hadn't been his best day.“It seems all that fighting over Heather’s attention was for naught, Hawkbit,” he said to grey rabbit, who stood beside him.

Campion crawled another few steps, and held his breath when a pain so intense, so unbearable traveled from his shoulder all the way to his paw. Finally, he was covered by the blanket of trees where he could rest again for the night. The forest was clearly visible from Watership Down.
A migraine shot across his head and he clenched his teeth in agony, not having experienced pain comparable with this before. Why was the Black Rabbit doing this? With energy sapping with the setting sun, he put his good paw to his ear for the hrair time, feeling the ruined and sharp edges under his touch and taking an unsteady gasp of air. Then he moved to his eye, the entire side of his face too unnaturally smoothed, healed, to have ever been caused by a crushing rock.
Shame wrecked him, the very thing that had made him push his new and malformed self away from a warm warren and out into the world of elil and everything else he didn't want to face. He spared a thought for a silver doe, one he had met what seemed like an eternity ago. Regret clouded this memory, regret that he’d never get to see her again. “Blackberry,” he sighed, wishing he were dead rather than her find him like this.
Pipkin’s words were still fresh in his head, warming his cold stone heart a little. “Wherever you go, whatever you do, you’ll never been forgotten.’
The young buck was accepting and anything but judgmental, but he knew the others wouldn't be the same.
He hoped more than anything that when it all ended, he would have a home at Watership Down again, a home he had for but a day.

Hey guys, just how alternative is this? Can we even change the whole course of Darkhaven and things? Thanks for starting up, Myrk! 

[[ Silverweed wanted this to be a RP without Magic, so the final conflict will have to be resolved without it. I think that Woundwort has to eventually reach Dark Heaven and start a war against Watership Down, but other than that we don't have to follow the plot of the series too closely. However, that's just my opinion. What do you think, guys?  ]]

(Bigwig is Silverweed's character, but since she didn't post in a long time, I guess there is no harm in you taking over her characters. :) )

Bigwig sat on the crest of the hill, smiling. He couldn't have been more pleased to see the Efrafans go. In fact, he never wanted to see them again. He sighed heavily, nodding.

(I can't make it undie, because I only have Moss, who left, and Spartina, who shows up later. I should go get another character, one who's here now, and then this thread will be undead.)

(Well... We could always make a new one, though, since apparently there's characters taken who's rp'ers aren't here. But... Whatever works for you.)

(Agreed. We could divide tv-series characters again and then start a new RP, with similar premise, but maybe starting at different point in third season. I think we should move this conversation to "Watership Down Role play OOC". There is quite enough Out Of Character talk in this RP as it is. ;)  )
