Hawkbit was sleeping soundly until Bigwig shouted: "Raise your lazy bum or Strawberry will bite it!" Hawkbit did what all would do. He said "I was hoping for Clover to wake me because your voice is screeching." He rolled his paw and shooed his tormentor, who shouted at Strawberry to go to Hawkbit and bite buck's tail. Strawberry came swiftly and bit Bigwig's tail. Bigwig wasn't happy.

He growled "You dare bite me, I'll smack your ears off!" Bigwig scowled at Strawberry. The latter complained when Bigwig cuffed him across the head and left. Cursing loudly and glaring like a homba, Strawberry ran to Blackberry, so she went to get Hawkbit.

He said: "I am going back to my siesta. Wake me up Clover." Blackberry sighed and turned toward Buttercup.

She whispered, "That Bigwig can get a mate but she'd never like him much." Buttercup said "Hawkbit, however you stand Thayli, will cuff you."

Hawkbit turned around toward the doe, then spoke: "Bigwig is beginning to annoy me beyond any understanding. He should calm down."

Blackberry turned to Campion, who lay down beside Hawkbit. He didn't say what he wanted, but said, "We bucks should take Bigwig's advice and train ourselves. Why don't we just do what he wants?"

Strawberry whined. He wanted to go to Hazel and tell him about Bigwig's attitude, so that he possibly could calm him down. He ran to Thayli's Chief and said: "Can't you ever control Bigwig?"

Hazel realized what Thayli's problem was: "He needs to find something to distract him from his anger issues." Hazel said to find Holly and tell him that Flyairth is heavy, and carrying young: his assistance will be appreciated. Someone had to escort her to her burrow. Bigwig heard about Flyairth's predicament, and knew he Hazel would be asking if he would help.

"Flyairth is my responsibility," Hazel said, "her kittens are supposed to come today and I have to look at what my Owsla is doing. They will need protection. My Owsla and I both will have a task: we need flayrah for the kittens."

Bigwig turned around sharply and bolted away to his own burrow. He didn't want to leave his Chief Rabbit however, yet he didn't want to leave without telling him Hawkbit was busy. Someone had to smack some sense into Hawkbit. That buck needed to learn some responsibility. It would take little time to teach Hawkbit, but hungry rabbits were unhappy, and that was bad. Bigwig knew where flayrah could be found. Farm foods were delicious and plentiful. Only problem was it was raining.

Blackberry muttered wearily, "I need flayrah or someone will suffer!" Campion came to Blackberry meekly and gave Blackberry some flayrah. It calmed her, but she remained displeased as she was very tired. That doe could scratch very deep, he knew. Once she attacked a cat

Once she attacked a cat with nothing, and she was doing the most damage
