Hawkbit's Discovery
« on: August 21, 2013, 10:57:36 PM »
I really didn't find anything...honest!  :neener

Ok, ok, I did find the book "Hawkbit's Discovery" by Diane Redmond.  This is essentially an adapted story that follows the episode "Lost" from Season 1, Episode 11 from the tv series.  The pictures below I'm only focusing on Hawkbit, Hazel, and Fiver's adventures in the cave system.  The episode shows Bigwig challenging Efrafa and discovering that the caves connect to an area near the Efrafan warren.  This is also depicted in the story as a side story.

Without any further hesitation here is 'my' discovery to share with the board. :D

The cover of the book:

Hawkbit gazes into the cavern they should have stayed out of.

Hawkbit, Hazel, and Fiver fall through the crack when they check out the rumor that Hawkbit had been spooked in the warren.

Deciding what to do.

Fiver nearly falls down a chasm when Hawkbit pushed him forward, trying to look for a way out.

Fiver reassures Hawkbit that Hazel will get them out of the cave safely.

Nice pictures. :)

In this one Hazel looks like he is about to spank both Hawkbit and Fiver for some infraction:

Fiver: Please, Hazel! Don't do this!

Hazel: I'm sorry Fiver, but there has to be some punishment. Besides... This will hurt me a lot more than you.

Hawkbit: If it so, then let us hit you. It will be more of punishment for us then.

Never quite looked at it that way, but yeah it could be lining up for punishment.  Hawkbit nearly did push Fiver to his death after all.

Fiver: "Hawkbit, what do you think, he will do to us?"
Hawkbit: "I'm worried what he will do to ME!"

And before that he blamed Fiver's visions for making things happen (although one could argue that he said that only because he was angry with Bigwig at the time), which in turn caused Fiver to be outside of the warren when weasel was around. Considering what kind of brother he is, Hazel might have had a very serious talk with Hawkbit at some point.

Wow. So many slaps and many of them seems to be for no particular reason. Hmm... Is that how people greet each other in USA? :D

I don't know about others, but that is how my friends do it, but it never happens to me, I wonder why. *looks at wall covered in medieval weaponry* Oh, that's why.

I love that running gag on that show.  Anyway, I don't think rabbits give head slaps to each other when they mess up.
