There were several small DVD and VHS releases including only a handful of episodes, including the two you bought, Norma.

From what I remember reading on other sites, "Journey to Watership Down" includes the first two episodes of the series, "The Promised Land" and "Home on the Down".  Primrose won't be appearing until episode 5, and for other new characters you'll have to wait until episode 9 :captain-broom

Pretty cool that the entire series is on Prime Video though! :frith

What is the quality of the episodes like on Amazon Prime? Is it better than the DVD quality? That's the highest possible that we have right now, about 480p, with bad interlacing.

It doesn't even have all the episodes, and in addition to amazon prime, you have to buy an additional service for $5.00 per month called ConTV.

Hmm...I may be able to claim a 6month free trail of Amazon Prime with me being a student, but I've never looked into it. I do know I can get a 30 trial though. Never heard of this ConTV thing though, but when I click it says I can get a 7 day trial. But £5 for one month isn't too bad.

I'd be willing to give getting these episodes a go, sometime. Probably easter or this summer time, because of university work. I'd also need a screen recorder or video downloader that worked, I'd have no spare time to go searching for one and getting it all within 7 days.
If you've got suggestions let me know! I'll bookmark this thread to remind myself.

It appears that the series is available for free on ConTV's website, bypassing the Prime subscription.

The best resolution appears to be 540p; apparently they also have subtitles, but I can't get them to work.  This site is also easier to rip than Prime, with a simple Python program doing the trick.

As Norma points out, however, they don't have all the episodes.  Season 3 is missing (first two are there in their entirety though).

i...have no idea how to use that Python stuff haha

I ran this episode one side by side to the dvd copy, and its MUCH smoother, no interlacing. Definitely will be replacing them once I get chance!
