Hello y'all. I kindled an obsession with Watership Down in 1981 and have resdiscovered it through the delight of sharing stories with my children.

I've picked the online name Blueberry in reflection of my favourite non-central characters

Bluebell I loved from my first reading for his loyalty and his humour

Blackberry is the character as whom I would like to see myself in adult life. With the book's three central characters he forms the fourth corner (through his intelligence) of the pyramid on which our group's survival and success rests. I also love his humility in deferring to others in leadership despite his own formidable gifts. He remains a team player even though he has ample excuse for being otherwise.

Anyway, am now going to browse on the existing topics and enjoy what the site has to offer!

If Blue stands for Bluebell and berry stands for Blackberry, then what d in your name stand for, if I may ask?
