Oh wow, missed this earlier.  She is quite good.  Wonder if anyone gives out WSD valentines....that'd be a bit awkward if all everyone remembered was the film version.  Can't say there was a lot of sappy love in that.

Indeed. Hazel and others in the movie were more practical than sentimental about getting does for their new warren. There was no "wouldn't it be nice to settle with a pretty doe and live with her for the rest of life?" or even "wouldn't it be better to have some warm body to snuggle to in the burrow when snow falls outside?"
