Hello there!
« on: March 23, 2014, 01:03:23 PM »
Hi!

So, um. Yes. :3 *awkward wave* I searched for a Watership Down RPG and found myself here! I looked around a bit before joining, and you all seem pretty nice and awesome. So I thought, why not?

I've had some RPing experience before, on other forums, and I've missed beinf part of a little RPing community. :3
But in the end, it's only a passing thing, this shadow. Even darkness must pass. A new day will come! And when the sun shines it'll shine out the clearer!

Hello, Madame Baggins :wave

Welcome to our warren :) I'm admittedly not a rpg-player, but fortunately there are more members like you who like role-playing. ;)

Hope, you like it here :)

Welcome to the FH, Madame Baggins. :)

Darkling is right. We have more than couple forum members who are interested in roleplaying, so you came to the right place. ;)

Could you tell us more about those other forums where you had RPing experience on? Were they Watership-Down-related too?

:3 Feel free to call me Zara, if you like. I don't know if you guys are all on real-name terms, but I'm cool with it. :)

Thanks for the warm welcome, guys! I'm sure I'll like it here.
I'll have to think up some character soon, hehe.

Sure, Myrkin! I haven't been on any WD RPG forums before. The ones I frequented most were 'Star Trek: The Next Generation' and 'Inkeart' RPG forums. I'm also the admin of a 'King Kong' RPG forum. I have tended to use the forums on fanfiction.net. :3

Oh, I wanted to let you all know I'm still in school; I'll try to post as regularly as I can, and such. But I just don't like to leave people in the lurch.
But in the end, it's only a passing thing, this shadow. Even darkness must pass. A new day will come! And when the sun shines it'll shine out the clearer!

We don't have any rules when it comes to names. Sometimes we use our real names (mine is Jakub, or Jacob in English). Most of the time we address each other by our profiles' names. It's simpler that way, I think. :)

I'm looking forward to seeing what character(s) you're going to come up with. :) You can also create a new RP with your own storyline, if you want. It doesn't have to be WSD-related. We have one set in Redwall universe for example.

Ah, okay! I suppose it is more practical to do so in this case, as there are quite a few members, I believe.
It's nice to 'meet' you all, in any case! ^^

Okay! Thank you for letting me know.
Ahh, Redwall. I love it. I've only read one or two books, but I love them.

That's the same with me. I like those novels, even though I only read "Redwall", "Mattimeo", "Martin the Warrior" and parts of other books. :)

They're really nice books. I bought a Redwall cookbook after reading the few I did, and that I would definitely recommend, too, hehe.

Redwall cookbook? I shouldn't be surprised that there is something like that. After all, food and meals are amongst the most important elements of Redwall novels. :D

It's fabulous. I used it to make stuffed portobello mushrooms for my parents' wedding anniversary once, and they loved them. :3
And all the recipes are vegetarian too, obviously, which is handy. :)

That seems like a really interesting book and vegetarian recipes are always helpful. What a pity that Redwall is quite hard to find here (the lack of translation doesn't help), so I am still completely unfamiliar with that universe.
But I happen to have Nanny Ogg's Cookbook.

Also, greetings ma'am B.

There is no translation of Redwall books in Czech Republic? What a pity. You could always read them in original language.

Hello, Foxbrow. Nice to meet you! And it's a pity they don't have it translated over there!
You have good taste in cookbooks, haha.

An RPG in this forum, it sounds interesting, if only I knew more English. Anyway I welcome, albeit a little late, I'm also new. =)
I love Watership Down!

Everything is fine =) (?)
