For those that are unaware, there are two board themes for Fiver's Honeycomb.  The default is the brown theme, but there is also a dark black theme.

You can switch themes by going all the way to the bottom of the main page, and off to the left in a drop down box you are given the option to switch themes.

"Losing Hope" is the brown theme.
"Lucent Rose" is the black theme.

As you can see, I've spent more time in making sure the brown theme works.  The black one is far less developed but its another option for those seeking something a bit different.  With the new tablets like the ipad, perhaps one looks/works better.  Options are always good.

Doing spring cleaning, I realized I forgot to port over the images for the other two themes.  Is anyone using the other themes besides the default brown one with the trees?

I'm using the Blue Night theme. Pretty plain, but I like it best.

The blue one is the sloppiest of all three I have.  I'll see what I can about getting the images back on that one.

The theme LucentRose doesn't show anything, did you really host the images for that one on photobucket?

I have fixed the LucentRose theme.  I will likely delete the blue theme in the near future as I never got it right in the first place.  :exactly

I've decided to create a new theme, based on the Losing Hope theme:

A New World

This theme has some WSD-images in the background.

Opinions and feedback is always desired ;)

We've decided to put the theme as standard for the forum.

I've played around a little bit with the background, so the middle part has now pictures from the creation of El-ahrairah from the movie.

If you have other suggestions how to improve the theme, here is the place for you to talk about ;)

Edit: If you still see the old theme, scroll to the bottom of the forum and select A New World.

Edit²: One thing I have to remark:
Mission accomplished
Next time, when our chief stops by, the honeycomb looks different :D

BTW: Has someone heard something about our chief rabbit?

Well... In this GoF topic he is setting up skype chat, so he's pretty much alive. ;)

I've decided to replace the filling of the fields (headings, the boxes with bosts, group, member # & join date etc.)

Previously, they had a simple background color. I replaced that with an transparent image, so the site background gleams.

Edit: Good to see:

The quote box has a transparent background ;)

"I'm pretty much alive."

:lol :lol :lol :lol :lol

Wow....you thought I was dead? :p

Anyway, I love the new theme...its really interesting!  I'm not a forum skinner so I knew very little about making changes, and just never did.  I like the fresh perspective a new theme will bring.

Or let's say: He's not dead yet :D

Thanks. My boss wanted a fullscreen background for our company website.

After that, I played around with the template of my website and get it managed to create a new background for it. And so I thought, why not do the same for the honeycomb :D
