Moss and the Efrafan Survivors

I know, that the idea with the new warren and Moss as their leader was only there to remove them from the series, so we could concentrate about Woundwort and Darkhaven, but when I image how great it would have been, when Moss and the Efrafan survivors would have fight together with Watership Down. A fight with Campion, Moss and Bigwig against Woundwort (we've seen, that he could at least fight three rabbits coincident).

But then on the other site: Moss and the other rabbits have experienced so much war and fighting under Woundworts reign, that I deign them their peace.

I feel that in a way, that was put into the series to symbolize the way Campion re-started Efrafa in the books, and rebuilt it into a healthy, but still strong and active, warren. However, because of the new plot lines, they couldn't send Campion off to be the leader, so they had Moss go for it. I agree that they deserved some peace, though. But something tells me that those 3 big "bully" rabbits wouldn't have minded too much.

Well, you always have some troublemakers in your warren :D

But that's an interesting thought. Never compared it with the book. But that sounds logical, that Moss does the same, Campion did in the book. Of course, there is no Efrafa anymore and Campion couldn't take the leader role.

And again, I see an interesting alternative to the books without betraying the spirits of the original story.

Just like you said, Moss and the rest of the Efrafan survivors were pretty much written off the series to make room for the whole Darkhaven "arc". It was a pretty classy send off if you ask me, since their story got resolved in the end but was not quite closed (meaning that they could have returned if needed, the possibility was always there... and that was a nice touch. I never quite ceased believing that they were going to show up at some point during the final battle -besides, most of them were still warriors on the inside-).
