Woundwort's purring
« on: January 09, 2015, 04:16:45 PM »
Am I the only one who finds Woundwort's signature loud purring noise he makes in the TV series odd?

I mean, is it just me or is he the ONLY rabbit in the series that makes such a noise and if so, why do you think he does it?

I haven't even noticed such purring. But now that you mention it, it leaves me wondering about why a one-eyed giant rabbit with a voice that can break thru solid rock would ever need a signature movement :lol

No, you're not the only one to notice Woundwort's purring:

Art by Folgrimeo.

IIRC, he lived in cage as a young rabbit with a cat bullying him, so maybe that's where he learned purring? :D

Folgy's blocking people from seeing his art it seems. :(  I never noticed the purring or thought much of it.  I think its supposed to be like a bad guy growl or something.

Blocking? You mean you can't see the picture in this topic or do you mean Folgrimeo is blocking his art on some other site?

I'm with Hawkbit and interpreted it always as some kind of bad guy sound (or disgruntled sound).

I agree that it seems to be bad  guy growling. Although real life rabbits will grind their teeth and purr as a sign of enjoyment, not usually as a sign of aggression.
